The 880 interactive whiteboard makes up the whiteboard of each system in the SMART 800 series. Each of the systems in the series comes with an extended control panel, a multiuser Pen Tray, SMART Meeting Pro software and the SMART GoWire auto launch cable. The natural user interface and innovative features encourages collaboration which can help your business to become more effective, efficient and productive.

With the 800 series, interactive with digital content becomes a natural intuitive experience. There's no need to press buttons or access onscreen menus - just simply write with a pen, move objects with your fingers and erase with your fist! You can use the touch screen to open documents, launch applications and navigate the internet. The 800 series supports Microsoft Windows 7 touch gestures (similar to those on smartphones and tablets) to allow you to manipulate objects with gestures such as zoom, rotate and pan. Two people can work on the whiteboard simulteneously - the 880 interactive whiteboard recognises what each user is doing and responds accordingly.

Workspaces that inspire collaboration The 800 series fosters an efficient and collaborative working environment. The integrated systems power up in seconds with the touch of a single button. Whether you're in a scheduled meeting or an impromtu collaboration session, you can access files on your network or on a USB drive or you can connect a laptop. You can mark up documents in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, in digital ink, and then save the notes as a PDF or PPT file and distribute them by email. Your entire teams feedback and ideas can be captured and everyone has the most recent files when they get back to their computers.
	An integrated system offers flexibility The 880 SMART interactive whiteboard powered by SMART's DViT (Digital Vision Touch) technology with the ultra short throw projector significantly reduces shadows and glare. It also offers a multiuser Pen Tray that controls on-screen functions and SMART Meeting Pro software, which enables writing in digital ink over the standard office software applications you use every day. You can install the SMART Meeting Pro software on your computer or use the included SMART GoWire auto-launch cable to connect laptops, with no installation required. An extended control panel provides centralised control over the entire system and a USB port to connect laptops or peripherals DVD players.

Freestyle interaction The system enables two users to instantly start working together without having to switch into a separate multiuser mode or work in a confined area. Object awareness The 800 series recognizes when a user switches between using a finger, pen and eraser. Touch gestures Use simple, intuitive hand and finger gestures to toss, rotate or zoom in on objects and interact within SMART Meeting Pro software. The 800 series has built-in support for Windows 7 and Snow Leopard.
SMART Ink Discover a responsive and accurate writing experience with SMART Ink. It smoothes out the appearance of the digital ink, which improves the legibility of your handwriting as you write over applications, websites and videos. The ink becomes an object that you can move and manipulate.
	Save function Capture your work to SMART Meeting Pro collaborative business software as a screen shot that you can edit, or save your notes directly into several software applications, including Microsoft Windows versions of PowerPoint®, Word and Excel®, Adobe® Acrobat® and AutoCAD® software. Durable surface The 800 series has a low-gloss surface that is optimized for projection. The surface is compatible with dry-erase markers and magnets and is easily cleaned. Widescreen option Enjoy more room to work. The wide-format 885 interactive whiteboard system model gives you 20 percent more working space than a standard interactive whiteboard ideal for classrooms that use widescreen laptops and monitors.
