Supported Operating Systems – Windows
- Windows 2000
- Windows XP
- Windows Server 2003
- Windows Vista
A single-processor server with a 100 Mbit network interface can support up to 250 concurrent users. To support more users, we recommend adding multiple processor cores to the server and allocating more network bandwidth. For specific details see KB112438. More than the recommended number of users may negatively affect performance.
In addition, each server must meet the following minimum requirements:
- 1 GHz Pentium® 4 processor
- 512MB RAM
- Windows® 2000, Windows XP or Windows server™ 2003 operating system
- 100 Mbps network interface card that supports the TCP\IP protocol (1 Gbps NIC recommended)
Bridgit software also requires an e-mail program for inviting participants to conferences. Although the Bridgit software client works with a variety of e-mail programs, it has been designed to work best with Microsoft Outlook. If you use a different e-mail program, e-mail invitations might not work correctly. |
