Multiple assessment options
Compile tests for formative and summative assessment, prepare quizzes or exams in advance and ask spontaneous questions to gauge students’ comprehension at any point during a lesson.
Question variety
Ask different types of questions, including true or false, yes or no, multiple choice, numeric response and multiple answer.
Import content
Use questions from third-party question banks or import questions from Microsoft applications and other commonly used software programs.
Content pages
Test student comprehension during any lesson by inserting questions between content pages in SMART Notebook software.
Multiple print options
Print quizzes as handouts so students can complete them at their own pace, or add comments to completed tests that can be printed and used later as study guides.
DELIVER
Anonymous mode
Allow your students to respond with complete anonymity. Students can use SMART Response without signing in, which allows them to respond without being tracked.
Privacy setting
Use the privacy mode in the system’s built-in gradebook to ensure sensitive student identification details and test scores aren’t seen by other students or teachers.
Radio frequency (RF) technology
Experience the convenience of the system’s RF technology, which provides a reliable and convenient wireless connection between the student remotes and central receiver. You don’t need a line of sight to deliver questions or submit answers, and the remote has a range of up to 100 feet (30 m).
Large LCD screen
Students can easily read up to three lines of text on the large display screen. They can see if their responses have been sent and review the status of their battery power and network connection.
Ergonomic design
Even young students will find the handheld remote easy to use and comfortable to hold.
Extended battery life
Benefit from easy battery maintenance. The remotes use two AA batteries, which are long-lasting and easy to replace.
Easy connection and installation
Connect the receiver to a computer using a USB connection. The receiver can be either mounted on a wall or placed on a desk. No extra power supply is required.
Convenient maintenance features
View power status through LED lights on the receiver. You can also see whether information has been sent or received.
