A new class of interactive whiteboard As part of the 800 series, the 880 and 880i represents a new class of interactive whiteboard. The 880 features touch gesture and multitouch capabilities that enable true collaboration and make lessons more engaging. The 880 and 880i5 are integrated systems featuring a powerful interactive whiteboard and a multiuser Pen Tray that enables users to work together instantly. 	Freedom to collaborate The SMART 880 systems make working together a flexible and intuitive experience. The system's multitouch capabilities enable two people to use a finger or a pen to interact simultaneously on the interactive whiteboard surface to write, draw and manipulate lesson content in SMART Notebook collaborative learning software. Each user is free to interact with content the way they want, anywhere on the interactive whiteboard. The system doesn't require a separate multiuser mode, so teachers and students can start working together quickly. The 880 interactive whiteboard uses DViT (Digital Vision Touch) technology to identify when a user switches between a finger, pen and eraser. A user can also write with a pen, erase with a palm and move objects with a finger, without having to press buttons, access on-screen menus or replace tools in the Pen Tray.

	Part of the SMART classroom The 800 series has a modular design, making it easy to add additional technology and accessories, like SMART projector controls. The interactive whiteboard also integrates with the SMART Document Camera and SMART Response interactive response systems. And accessories like the SMART mobile floor stand and wireless Bluetooth connection mean that you can incorporate the 800 series into a variety of learning environments.

Multitouch
Two users can simultaneously write, perform mouse functions, erase, and manipulate and move objects on the 880 interactive whiteboard surface and no special tools are required.

Freestyle interaction
The system enables two users to instantly start working together without having to switch into a separate multiuser mode or work in a confined area. And each user can individually complete actions, like writing in digital ink or moving objects with their fingers.

Object awareness

Multiuser Pen Tray
Pick up one of the pens or the eraser and the Pen Tray automatically detects which tool you've selected. Buttons on the Pen Tray select the color and activate the On-Screen Keyboard, right-click and help functions.

Modular design
The Pen Tray includes two wings on the side that allow you to add accessories, such as SMART projector controls.

Lockable pen option
Hold down a pen color button on the Pen Tray until the light flashes, and the lockable pen option will lock the interactive whiteboard into pen mode, so you can use any device and it will act as a pen. Early education students and students with special needs can use objects like a tennis ball to write on the surface.

SMART Ink
Discover a responsive and accurate writing experience with SMART Ink. It smoothes out the appearance of the digital ink, which improves the legibility of your handwriting as you write over applications, websites and videos. The ink becomes an object that you can move and manipulate.

Save function
Capture your work to SMART Notebook collaborative learning software as a screen shot that you can edit, or save your notes directly into several software applications, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD software.

The 880 interactive whiteboard has a low-gloss surface that is optimized for projection. The surface is compatible with dry-erase markers and is easily cleaned.

Front-of-room centralized control
Switch between all your audiovisual devices directly from the extended control panel. The panel provides centralized control of your classroom technology, including DVD players, digital cameras and document cameras. You can move from a website to a video documentary to a review question quickly and seamlessly. The extended control panel also has a dual-USB port that enables you to connect two computers to the SMART Board interactive whiteboard and easily switch between them as required.

The SMART UF75 ultra-short-throw projector offers improved shadow reduction and enhanced brightness, and it’s both 3D and HD ready. It has a throw distance of approximately 0.6m (2’), provides 2,500 lumens in standard mode and projects crisp images with high contrast and colour quality. The projector can display both 3D lesson content and high-definition video, and has an HDMI input.

Warranty
