Avocor, the fastest-growing collaboration display solution provider in the world, has announced it is developing collaboration displays based on Windows that will feature the world’s most advanced touchscreen technology to enable enhanced teamwork, locally and remotely. The new displays are fully compatible with Microsoft Windows 10 and will deliver the power of Office 365 and Microsoft Teams productivity within the meeting room.
“Microsoft is making teamwork easier than ever before, and the new Windows collaboration displays enable this by providing a room-size display on which people can work together, using apps like Microsoft Teams and Whiteboard to get projects done,” said Ruston Panabaker, Vice President IoT solutions, Microsoft. “We are thrilled that Avocor is working with us to launch the Windows collaboration display category, and that they are bringing a line of innovative displays to market that will be compatible with Windows 10 applications, Touch screen and Inking capabilities.”
These brand new collaboration displays from Avocor will deliver real-time collaboration in huddle rooms, conference spaces and boardrooms, and offer:
- 4K 20 point touch displays
- Flawless pen and inking capabilities
- Integration with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools
- Integration with Microsoft Whiteboard and Microsoft teams
- Integrated camera, speakers and microphones
The upcoming Microsoft based product line from Avocor will easily connect to any Windows 10 PC via a single USB-C, and include built in sensors to connect to the Microsoft Azure cloud, so organisations can manage and utilise the data they collect to make decisions on room usage and collaboration across the workforce.
“Avocor is changing how people can collaborate and working with a partner like Microsoft accelerates the customer experience so it’s easy and effective. Windows collaboration display products by Avocor will be an ideal solution for huddle spaces, offices and meeting rooms and seamlessly integrate into any Enterprise.”
– Scott Hix, CEO Avocor.
Although Avocor will not be demonstrating their new Windows collaboration displays at InfoComm, the Avocor F series F-6550 with inking and touch will be shown at Microsoft’s own Infocomm 2018 booth and Avocor’s booth, and will also be previewing a display showing the features of the Azure solutions. Pricing, display sizes and availability for the additional Windows collaboration displays built by Avocor will be announced this summer, and will be available in the UK via VideoCentric.
