VideoCentric is pleased to announce their recognition as a Public Sector Partner of Cisco, with focus on video collaboration solutions for the UK Healthcare market.

Cisco’s Public Sector Partner Programme (PSPP) for Healthcare was developed to recognise partners who successfully operate within the specific vertical market, and rewards partners with a specialist pricing model and engagement strategy that ensures customers can select integrators that are both highly experienced and competitive in the chosen public sector vertical.

Though video conferencing and collaboration technologies have been proven to be a significant enabler for organisations such as the NHS, providing video communication solutions for the healthcare market is challenging due to complex network requirements and the need to meet strict regulations for both data security and data quality,” commented Emily Shimell, Communications Manager at VideoCentric Ltd.

“It is important for organisations to select partners based not only on the initial cost, but also for the long term return on investment, which proves to be significantly higher if inexperienced teams are involved in network, communications and configuration decisions, and the solution is unable to be supported efficiently over time,” she added.

VideoCentric has been providing Video Conferencing solutions into the UK Healthcare market for 15 years. They have designed Female and Male doctor analysing xray in front of computer and deskand deployed Cisco solutions and services to both NHS Trusts nationwide and private healthcare providers to help improve patient care, hospital management, administration, and training within NHS University Hospitals. In conjunction with Cisco, VideoCentric provides innovative solutions to enable mobile working and collaboration between hospitals, home carers & specialists, and partners with other specialist healthcare solution providers such as Karl Storz and Vision Source Ltd to upgrade and enhance MDT rooms, operating theatres and GP’s offices with the latest in healthcare technology.

To achieve the Public Sector recognition for healthcare, VideoCentric is required to hold Cisco Premier certification level, and prove commitment to the healthcare market, including a Cisco market strategy and providing dedicated personnel for both account management of healthcare customers and experienced technical engineers.

“VideoCentric are a team focused on improving efficiency, productivity and collaboration within hospitals and the NHS with high quality & professional video collaboration technology, which in turn will drastically reduce costs, make vast time savings and ultimately improve patient care.”
