first to sell new MCU from Codian in UK, Europe
& Middle East

– 17 March 2004 VideoCentric has been
appointed by Codian,
to sell and support its latest range of MultiPoint
Control Units, in UK, Europe and the Middle
East. The new 4200 range brings new features,
high performance and greater on-screen flexibility
at speeds of up to 4Mbps per port and integrate
fully with all the major H.323 video conferencing
systems on the market.
VideoCentric has already taken delivery
of its first demonstration unit which it
will use to train UK resellers as well as
show to end-users and service providers
through a series of seminars being planned
in 2Q04. Extended warranty programs have
been designed by VideoCentric and on-site
installations will be available through
staff who have are experienced in the configuration
of RADVision, Cisco, Polycom/Accord, VideoServer,
Ezenia, Tandberg, GPT and BT MCU's.

demonstrating the
4210
to UK resellers, universities and corporate
organisations in April and another unit
has already been permanently set up for
internet demonstration by Codian. To ensure
full interoperability prior to launch, VideoCentric
and Codian are currently running tests with
major endpoints and networking devices such
as Polycom Viewstation, VSX7000, ViaVideo,
Tandberg 1000, 550, 880, 990, 2500, 6000,
Sony PCS-1, VCON Falcon, Vpoint, ViGO, HD3000,
RadVision, LeadTek.
