ViewStation
FX / VS4000 Details......
Mixed
Protocol Dialling
enables the internal MCU of the ViewStation
FX and VS4000 systems to simultaneously combine
mixed-network calls, IP (H.323) and ISDN (H.320),
within the same multipoint session, making
video calls easier to set up and connect.
It also eases participation in multipoint
conferences on demand, by eliminating the
need to schedule them in advance.
Dial-In Calling
allows new endpoints to join calls already
in progress, using ISDN and/or IP networks,
by simply calling into the host site. Additional
parties can join an active conference without
interruption of the call, and the host site
no longer needs to delay the conference to
add a new participant. Now conferences are
more fluid and new participants are quickly
and easily added to the call on-the-fly.
How
these features help you.
Down speeding
automatically adjusts the bandwidth of inbound
and outbound calls for hassle free connection.
End users are not required to know the exact
data rate of the existing call to join.
Simultaneous
call processing
makes multipoint calls quicker and easier.
End users can initiate and/or receive multiple
calls without losing a connection or waiting
for calls to be processed in serial.
Password
capability allows users to restrict inbound
callers from joining a secured video conference.
Optionally, the host site can override password
lockouts to allow new endpoints to join a
call in progress after a quick visual confirmation.
Do
Not Disturb
setting allows users to limit interruptions
completely by blocking all outside attempts
to join a call in progress.
Easy
call setup
allows multipoint calls to be set up and initiated
in the manner most comfortable to the end
user, including manually, via the Web dialler,
Global Address Book or through an API.
Expanded
endpoint coverage
allows maximum endpoint participation in conference
calls. This is includes audio add-in over
VoIP plus one POTS line.
