today announced the release of the Torrent
VCG Video Conferencing Gateway, for
high-performance, multi-format streaming of
H.323 Video conferences over any IP network.

in mind, the Torrent VCG provides corporations,

with a powerful, yet easy-to-use and cost-effective
solution for the widescale deployment of IP
communications over their existing infrastructure.
The Torrent VCG streams,
records, and archives any H.323 video conference
over any IP network, for viewing in Windows
Media Technology, RealPlayer, and Apple QuickTime.
It is the next-generation platform of STARBAKs
Torrent CE, the worlds first and only
H.323 videoconferencing to streaming media
gateway, and winner of Internet Telephonys
Product of the Year Award. The Torrent VCG
is ten times more powerful than the Torrent
CE, supporting up to 20 live streams simultaneously
and can saturate up to 1 Gigabit Ethernet.
