A fibre connection directly to your premises provides you with a dedicated Ethernet leased line without contention from others. With speeds up to 100Mbps on the transport bearer, you can opt to take a portion of this maximum to allow for upgradability in the future, so for example, a 10/100 connection will provide you with 10Mbps on a 100Mbps capable line.
ETHERNET FIRST MILE (EFM)
Provides highly resilient Ethernet up to 20Mbps without contention from others. By introducing more “pairs”, a higher speed can be achieved; 2 pairs will typically deliver 6-8Mbps and 4 pairs will deliver 12-16Mbps although this will vary in each post code region.
SUPER FAST FTTC & FTTP
Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) and Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) is available where budget is tight, where video communication use is infrequent and where some contention with other users in your local post code area is unlikely to cause a problem.
FIBRE 40 & FIBRE 80
Not sure you need the full speeds that leased lines offer but would still like more than EFM, particularly on download speeds? How about we give you about half and charge you much less for it? With Fibre 40 you can expect to receive 40Mbps downstream and 10Mbps upstream and with Fibre 80 you can expect to receive 80Mbps downstream and 20Mbps upstream.
We can help you determine which service will fit best with your video conferencing and collaboration requirements, and are happy to sit with you and listen to your aims, goals and budget and provide you with a number of options that will work for you.
