2020 has thrown us a curveball. We have had to change our lives, routines and ways of working to the point that nearly all of our work, leisure and social interactions are online.
Almost 3 months into lockdown and we are missing our usual pub evenings, sports events, restaurant dinners, cinema nights and theatre trips.
But! We are a generation of out-of-the-box thinkers, inventors and dreamers who can and will adapt what we already have to suit our needs.
Here are some examples of how we have seen Video Conferencing creatively adapted and utilised recently!
Live online theatre performances!
The cast of Dear Evan Hansen recently did a live performance of some of their biggest songs and streamed it online. This was powered by Zoom!
Thousands of Churches all around the world have gone online during the pandemic to deliver live services and provide support services. A wide variety of platforms have been used but a favorite is definitely Lifesize.
Virtual Pub Quiz
Friends, charities and pubs everywhere have taken to Zoom to host their pub quizzes – and now with a breakout feature, you can funnel participants into separate groups for more complex gameplay!
