The Codian MCU 4500 series is the only conferencing bridge with the power to deliver a true high definition (HD) multimedia experience.

Without compromise or limits this MCU supports the highest video resolution, speed, frame rate and codec of the latest HD endpoints. This includes full continuous presence for all conferences, including those with a mix of both HD and standard definition (SD).

The Codian MCU 4500 series is ideal for applications which demand the ultimate audio and video quality, such as business meetings, telemedicine, distance learning and corporate training.

Once you are connected, you can use Far End Camera Control on your video conferencing remote, to join an existing conference or to create a new one. Use Up and Down to move up and down menus, Right to select a menu option and Left to go back. One of the pre-configured conferences is up and running with pre-recorded participants.

Provisioning summary

Using high bandwidth, 4CIF / 4SIF, H.264, HD or Advanced (symmetric) Continuous Presence does not reduce the number of sites supported. There can be any number of conferences up to the limit on the number of participants.
