The TANDBERG Intern MXP Tele-HealthCare Solution has been specifically designed for applications where a smaller, more mobile system is required, while still retaining the sophisticated technology and flexibility of larger units. The Intern MXP can be utilized for many clinical applications, such as remote consultations, rural health care and emergency response, as well as administrative meetings and continuing medical education (CME).

The TANDBERG Tele-HealthCare solutions have been successfully integrated into a variety of telemedicine programs to address applications such as:

• Teleconsultation or incorporating videoconferencing technologies into traditional clinic visits.
• Telementoring links two medical professionals together for interactive instruction during an actual patient procedure or for face-to-face mentoring without direct patient interaction.
• Administrative Meetings to link staff from various business locations.

While no currently available technology can completely substitute for the in-person physical examination of an individual patient or specimen, the Tandberg Tele-HealthCare Solutions provide high quality, high resolution long distance images which can provide a significant and valuable tool for physicians and other medical professionals who are unable to examine a patient or specimen in person.
