The VCON VCB is a powerful, secure Videoconferencing appliance featuring up to 48 ports of 4Mb/s multipoint capacity, shedualing, streaming, a full H.323 gatekeeper and video PABX facilities (call forwarding, transfer, group pickup etc).

The VCB combines tradditional multipoint Videocenferencing ,streaming and sheduling into a single, affordable solution. Both schedules and ad-hoc conferences are supported for a network of H.323 endpoints and SIP endpoints. The VCB includes management, as well as basic features such as continuous presence and rich, intelegent conference layouts (up to 16 participants at a time). Additionally the VCB inclutes all the latest audio, video, and data algorithms, ensuring that calls involving standards-based Videoconferencing endpoints will connect and operate smoothly. The VCB is shipped as an intergrated solution in a rack-mount appliance, scalable from 12 to 48 port.

Conference rooms and boardrooms everywhere are going HD, and Sony's EVI-HD1 takes the headache out of this transition with the flip of a switch - literally. Sony is adding a high-defintion model to its EVI Series. Since it is also compatible with standard definition (SD), this unique p/t/z camera allows you to take the first step in HD migration.

The EVI-HD1 camera combines a high-quality HD colour video camera with the flexibility of remote pan/tilt/zoom operation. With 14 formats to choose from (including eight HD types and six SD video formats), this new dynamic camera allows end-users to decide when they are ready to migrate from SD to HD.
